“Michael is the best psychiatric health practitioner I have been treated by. I feel super comfortable in our sessions. I am so grateful for his support, medication management and counseling. I am usually very uncomfortable in medical establishments and honestly it really does feel like checking in with a friend that I trust. Plus, it is not everyday that you can laugh and relate with your PMHNP-BC. Can’t recommend him enough. Extremely professional, punctual, and great vibes!”

“Michael as helped me tremendously. I was always the type of person that didnt believe in a therapist and didnt think they would help me in any way. Well i was wrong. Michael has helped me become a much better person, better father, and better husband. If it wasn’t for his guidance i wouldn’t be where i am at today. I can’t recommend him enough!”

“Very good listener, didn't make me feel judged or uncomfortable. Also allowed me to speak freely without correcting or interrupting me. Gave me very valuable information about my treatment that no other doctor told me!”

“Michael is one of the best mental health providers I’ve ever had. He’s always on time and super respectful and challenges me to grow. He combines CBT with pharmaceuticals and is very good at working with his patients. He is super patient and actually cares about you. He is very respectful and understands different cultural backgrounds which is super important to me. I highly highly highly recommend him.”

About the owner
My journey in healthcare began as an EMT and volunteer firefighter, where I first discovered the importance of caring for others in times of crisis. I later worked as a psychiatric technician at New York-Presbyterian Columbia campus while putting myself through nursing school, which led to a career as a psychiatric nurse supporting adolescents with complex behavioral challenges. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I expanded my experience in med-surg, ICU stepdown, progressive care, and hospice units before returning to psychiatry at New York-Presbyterian Westchester’s Crisis Stabilization Unit, where we specialized in severe mood, psychotic and personality disorders in addition to addiction.
I hold a BSN from Long Island University Brooklyn and a Master’s from CUNY Hunter College, and I am board certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner while completing my doctorate. Over the years, I have seen firsthand how patients can be treated as numbers instead of people, and I founded my practice to change that. My goal is to provide compassionate, individualized care that recognizes each patient as a whole person rather than a diagnosis.
